SOLD

The first owner of this example of a MG PA was Flying Officer F L Newall he bought the car on 1st December 1934 from Richmond car sales in Surrey.

In 1935 he took part in driving tests at the Brooklands track and in 1936 took part in hill climbs with the Midlands Car Club.  The large and interesting history file with the car shows letters for warranty work between himself and Abingdon Works and photos of the car competing in the hill climb.

The car was then used for many years overseas before returning to the UK and was sold at Christies Car Auction for restoration in 1995.

The car was then subject to restoration and documented maintenance records together with subsequent works and parts over the years are within the history file.

The car is finished in a traditional 2 tone colour scheme of Oxford and Cambridge blue.

It has remained mainly unused since 2012 and now requires a degree of renovation, but is in generally very sound condition. It starts, stops and drives however the engine would need some work, particularly the noisy valve gear.

This is an ideal and straightforward project for an enthusiast over the winter months.
