This particular example of one of Abingdon’s finest is best described as immaculate.  Finished in old English white with red leather upholstery, black carpets, black hood and full tonneau cover.

Following a return from dry state USA in around 2011 the car was dry stored until restoration was carried out between 2012-2015, during which it was converted to RHD.

The comprehensive body off restoration was meticulously carried out to a superb show winning standard with everything either being rebuilt or replaced.

The panel fit is excellent all round and the car presents as clean underneath as on top.

Mechanically the car has been upgraded by the fitment of a fully rebuilt, balanced and lightly modified 3 bearing MGB 1800 engine. The gearbox is the correct later MGA box rebuilt with improved internals where possible (layshaft, bearings, synchro rings etc). The axle was  rebuilt and fitted with an MGB 3.9:1 differential.

The benefit of these upgrades together with the quality of the restoration make for an MGA that is a pleasure to drive with comfortable cruising speed.

Other improvements include alternator conversion, electric cooling fan, improved fuel pump with filter regulator and electronic ignition.

Since completion in 2015 the car has covered just under 2000 dry use miles.

The car comes with a huge file of invoices, heritage certificate and photos.

To be sold fully serviced with 12 months MOT. Can be viewed on a ramp by prior appointment.
